Between the Sticks

Guglielmo Vicario (Tottenham): Despite finishing on the defeated team versus the Blues, his colleagues left him exposed. He faced 18 shots, nine on target, with an expected goals of 3.36 for the opposition yet he kept them in it. He never gave up for his side.

Defenders

Nico O'Reilly (City): The talented teen is frightening. Naturally a central midfielder, he adapts intelligently at full-back. His performance in the victory over the Cherries stood out, marking him as a future star.

Gabriel (the Gunners): A constant menace, he helped secure a further shutout for Arsenal. He remains a handful from dead-ball situations, and his presence was decisive in the triumph at Turf Moor. Opponents clearly fear him.

Jean-Clair Todibo (the Hammers): Included for two reasons: West Ham's win and his measured, confident display. Although the Magpies underperformed, he excelled on the ball and calmed things down. After some shaky displays, he seems to have improved under manager Nuno Espirito Santo.

Ryan Sessegnon (the Cottagers): He ignited the side in the win over Wolves. Outstanding going forward and consistent throughout the term, he has added goals recently. Fantastic to see him fit and playing.

Midfielders

Moises Caicedo (Chelsea): The only midfielder no one can dispute. Absolutely pivotal for Chelsea, he stood as the best ball-winner. An energizer, he drives the team ahead. Perhaps the best holding midfielder in the game.

Declan Rice (the Gunners): Another key performance against Burnley. A dominant force, he netted and shines from dead balls. When playing lesser teams, he recovers energy and makes forward surges. Important to unleash him.

Ryan Gravenberch (the Reds): He advanced, getting a goal against a struggling Aston Villa side. His skill to control the game on and off the ball, along with his vision and tackling, rendered him essential to the win.

Attack

Diego Gomez (the Seagulls): He scored a brace versus Leeds, and he was elegant gliding past opponents. Moving quickly and strongly, he was preferred over fellow attacker Danny Welbeck for this spot.

Erling Haaland (Manchester City): What more can be said about the machine? Each occasion he got through, you expected a score. He never looked to be off target. The King is back. Despite summer talk about alternate forwards, Haaland reigns supreme. He might break goal tallies this season.

Rayan Cherki (Manchester City): Operating as a right winger suits him best. Incredibly ambidextrous, uncommon since Santi Cazorla. He takes set-pieces equally well. A skilled player, he looks sharp after his injury. His connection with Haaland is clearly a key reason for his acquisition.

Manager

Nuno Espirito Santo (West Ham): Haven't seen it, just watch his celebration their third against the Magpies. That shows what it means to him and the squad. He's aware West Ham are under pressure, but they must persevere and secure results.
