The Secret Organization is geared up to play a huge role in Netflix’s upcoming season of One Piece, though the true confrontation won’t take place until the third season, and a beloved, fan-favorite member has now been chosen.

The platform declared Tuesday that the talented performer has joined the One Piece season 3 cast and will embody Bentham. Bon Clay possesses the power to transform into an identical duplicate of any individual they’ve laid a hand on with their main hand. The actor, who is gender non-conforming and uses they/them pronouns, will portray a version of that figure re-envisioned as gender non-binary, as opposed to as a drag queen, in the real-life adaptation, as in the original manga and anime.

The new cast member will work alongside multiple recently announced actors who will portray Baroque Works to the screen, including leader Sir Crocodile, portrayed by the seasoned performer, Sophia Anne Caruso as Miss Goldenweek, and a familiar face, who also joins the lineup as the monarch of Alabasta.

Even though the role is a important part of Baroque Works, the persona won’t make their debut One Piece the third season. Given season 2 likely to portray the Little Garden arc, this marks a major departure in the placement of Bon Clay’s introduction, one that could indicate further changes to the plot development.

Escola’s blend of sharp comedic timing and emotional depth makes them a ideal selection for the character. Besides their current animated role in the youth-focused cartoon movie Boys Go to Jupiter, they received high praise and multiple awards for writing and starring in the successful stage production Oh Mary!, emphasizing the versatility they’ll bring to one of One Piece’s most celebrated characters.

The platform’s adapted One Piece program is due to premiere for its season two on March 10th, 2026.
