Details of the Serious Allegations Nathaniel Spencer from Birmingham has been charged with dozens of sexual offences – comprising acts against minors under the age of thirteen – between 2017 and 2021. One senior prosecutor stated, “Legal teams have worked at length to support a detailed and complex investigation, meticulously examining the available evidence to determine that there is sufficient evidence to bring the case to trial and that it is in the public interest.” Scope of the Police Inquiry The charges follow what investigators called a “detailed inquiry” into reported assaults at two hospitals: a hospital in Stoke-on-Trent and a facility in Dudley. The defendant is scheduled to appear at the North Staffordshire justice centre on January 20th. Breakdown of Offences Prosecutors said the forty-five charges he is charged with: 15 counts of assault. 17 counts of assault by penetration. Nine counts of sexual assault of a child under 13. 3 counts of penetrative assault on a child under thirteen. 1 count of attempting to assault by penetration.
